Dr. Alan L. Atkinson hails from Samaria, Idaho. He grew up on a dairy farm and beef ranch and enjoys the rural lifestyle. Dr. Atkinson completed his DVM degree from Washington State University in 1999. He has worked at Animal Medical Clinic since then, becoming a partner in 2008. Andrea Atkinson joined the AMC family in September 2016 working at the front desk. She has a bachelor degree from University of Idaho in Family Consumer Sciences. Andrea loves meeting the community and helping all the dear 4-legged friends that come through the door. Together they have 4 beautiful kids and love raising them here in Preston. They bought the practice from Dr. Williams in 2015.
Dr. Lincoln Mumford received his DVM in 2005 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has been at the Animal Medical Clinic since then. He and his wife Hollie have six children together. Dr. Mumford is excited to practice veterinary medicine in this beautiful area. Hobbies include spending time with family, sports, building, and farming.
Dr. Clyde E. Williams former owner of the Animal Medical Clinic. He was raised on a dairy farm west of Blackfoot, Idaho. He completed a B.S. and M.S. degree from the University of Idaho and graduated from Washington State School of Veterinary Medicine in 1979. He's retired now, and he and his wife Karen are serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City Ut.
Sue Stewart is married to Richard Stewart, she has 4 children and 11 grandchildren. Have been part time receptionist since 2005 here at AMC. Love your animals and most of you.
Amelia has been working for the Animal Medical Clinic since 2016. She has lived in Preston for most of her life. She earned a Liberal Arts Degree from the College of Southern Idaho, then earned her pre vet tech certificate from Bridgerland Technology in Logan Utah. She has grown up with animals big and small, and loves them dearly. Amelia and Dr. Smart got married in June 2021.
Dog Groomer Beth Hanger was born in Genola, Utah. She has lived in Preston for about 7 years. She has always loved animals, which helped her decide to groom them. Beth has been grooming dogs for about 15 years.
Teagan Nance was raised in Idaho. She started working at Animal Medical Clinic as a groomer in 2021. Teagan has always loved animals and loves grooming both dogs and cats.
Kendra was born and raised in Henefer, UT. She grew up on a sheep & cattle ranch. She moved up to Cache Valley to attend USU and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Science in 2014. Kendra was previously a vet tech at Bridgerland Animal Clinic in Logan for 8 years before moving to Weston, ID and joining the Animal Medical Clinic team in February 2021.
Shaylee started working at the Animal Medical Clinic in 2017 as a kennel assistant. She went through the Bridgerland Vet Assistant course in 2021 and started working as Vet Tech after. Shaylee loves working with your pets.
Waldo has been a part of our family since 2018. Waldo was brought to us injured. The doctors fixed him up and he has been here ever since. Waldo enjoys long naps, food and glaring at dogs.
